Leanne and Dean's wedding at St Paul's Church, Huddersfield and Walton Hall Waterton Park Wakefield

A bright and bubbly Leanne greeted us as we arrived at her parent's house in Huddersfield, the fresh face and happy smiles belying a lack of sleep the night before the big day. (at this point I think it's also only fair to point out that Leanne's demeanor never changed throughout the whole day and even as we wished them good night just before 10PM she was still more awake than both myself and Alex).

The church Leanne and Dean had chosen was St Paul's in Huddersfield, a bright and great looking church and ideal for photography. (Apparently they also do a great line in weddings but this is about photos!).

Following on from the ceremony and a few formal shots outside church we made our way to Walton Hall Waterton park in Wakefield for their wedding reception. Once again Rolls Hire of Ossett were superb and even though they've renamed me 'Cornfield Chambers' after my desire to park all their cars in and around as many fields as possible, they obligingly parked the wedding car in another field for some photos with Leanne and Dean.

The Islands stunning setting lends itself perfectly for photographs and a bright blue sky, obliging bride an groom and a set of fantastic guests ensured the large screen display we shoed in the evening went down a storm. I'm booked already for next year to photograph Leanne's sister's wedding at Hazlewood Castle, if it's half as much fun as today I can't wait!
