A busy weekend with weddings from the 26th to 29th. Starting at Walton Hall, Waterton Park in Wakefield, the Devonshire Fell in Burnsall North Yorkshire, Hazlewood Castle near York and Bagden Hall Scissett.

A full post and a bucket full of pictures to follow shortly, but for the moment a small selection of images from each of the four weddings.

Elles and Dan (Bride and Groom Friday) added: Wow, what can I say?!

There are no words that can do justice to describe how fantastically the photos are of our wedding. We looked at them and just sat in awe at the amazing way you captured our special day. Every photo tells a story and each is unique in it's own special way.

You are worth your weight in gold and I will advise anyone who is getting married to book their wedding around your availability because you rock!

Sally Added: I came across your site after looking on Google, Great wedding images, just thought I'd drop you as line to say how great some of your shots are.
Liam Added: You have a cracking eye for detail Chris - very creative compositions and a sound mix of accomplished flash and available light images.
Lisa and Brian (Bride and groom Monday) Added: Amazing photos Chris, thank you so much!

Mark and Michelle's wedding, Edward the Confessor Church at Cifford to Hazlewood Castle York

An early start at Hazlewood Castle on Thursday for the wedding of Mark and Michelle as I joined Michelle for photographs as she prepared for the day ahead. Mark and Michelle were marrying at Edward the Confessor Church in nearby Clifford and it was there just before midday I joined Mark and his best men for some photos before Michelle arrived from Hazlewood.

Following the ceremony in the fantastic looking church (made even better by being given free reign for photographs) we ventured outdoors into the sunshine before despatching  the confetti and returning to Hazlewood Castle for the wedding celebrations to begin. A short stop enroute for some photographs with the car allowed the guests to leap frog us and so when we arrived at Hazlewood Castle guests were there ready to greet the happy couple.

With three best men (his brothers), Mark was in for a rough ride during the speeches and the guys didn't disappoint! Following on from the wedding breakfast Mark and Michelle were keen for some photos to be taken around the Castle at night both indoors and out and so we ventured outdoors before ending the short photo shoot in the ornate Victoria Room.

Tim and Melanie's wedding at Walton Hall, Waterton Park Wakefield

Following on from their great Pre-wedding photo shoot a few weeks ago I caught up with Tim and Melanie again today as they married in a civil wedding ceremony at Walton Hall.

Although cloudy for most of the day, late afternoon the sky cleared and we were lucky enough to head back outdoors for a quick shoot with the setting sun bathing the few remaining clouds in a warm orange and pink glow.

Paul and Liz's wedding Bagden Hall near Huddersfield

Paul and Liz were married on Friday at Bagden Hall Hotel in Scissett. With some great weather and a very relaxed bride and groom the photos were a storm. For possibly the first time this year we used grass for the full guests shot, hanging out of one of the high windows overlooking the lawn, hopefully a sign that firmer ground (no heels sinking) and warmer temperatures are just around the corner.

Paul and Liz were happy to go with the flow and my ideas for a few new photographs I'd never tried at Bagden Hall before. Judging by the tears and laughter during the big screen evening display we had running the photos were a huge success.
